Sourdough Loaves

These sourdough loaves are quick and easy to make – only five ingredients. Sourdough starter, water, honey, salt and flour. Sourdough is a wild yeast that can be cultivated right on your countertop. And according to some sources, sourdough bread is easier on your stomach. I typically make anywhere from one to five loaves a week, mostly for ourselves, sometimes for friends. Served toasted and crusty, it’s perfectly paired with butter and jam, or as an open faced sandwich base.
